How ARIA Intel Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal data, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law.
This platform is operated by ARIA Intel Ltd (“ARIA Intel”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17098980. We provide a subscription property and construction intelligence service for businesses operating in the UK built environment.
For the purposes of UK data protection law — the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 — ARIA Intel Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this service. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@aria-intel.com.
We collect and process the following categories of personal data:
The intelligence ARIA Intel provides is largely built from publicly available information — including planning applications, building control notices, Land Registry records and Companies House filings — published by public bodies. Where that public information identifies an individual, we process it as described in this policy and only to provide the service to our business customers.
We rely on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the UK GDPR:
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers (processors) that help us run the platform, and only as needed to deliver the service:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and subscription billing |
| Resend | Sending transactional and account emails |
| Stannp | Printing and dispatching physical letters you choose to send |
Each of these providers acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We may also disclose personal data where required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law — such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement (or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) — to ensure your data remains protected.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle any follow-up queries or disputes. Billing and transaction records are kept for at least six years to meet UK accounting and tax requirements. We delete or anonymise personal data we no longer need.
We use a single strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in while you use the platform. This cookie is essential to the service and is not used for advertising or third-party tracking.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@aria-intel.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to keep our measures under review.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above, and where changes are significant we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
